Two ways in

Choose the route that matches your situation.

There is no single path into Italy for skilled tradespeople. Which route makes sense depends on whether you already have an employer lined up — and how much time you have.

Track 01

Decreto Flussi Route

For workers who can secure an employer sponsor

  • You need an employer first — a genuine Italian company willing to sponsor your work permit
  • Entry depends on Click Day — a narrow, oversubscribed annual application window set by the Italian government
  • Typical timeline: 12–18 months from employer match to arrival
  • Best suited to workers with an existing network or trade association contacts in Italy

Track 02

Vocational Route

For workers without an employer yet

  • No employer needed to start — you enter on a study visa at an ITS Academy
  • You study and work legally (up to 20 hours/week) while training
  • Typical timeline: 3 years, including an EU-recognised vocational certification
  • Convert to a work permit after graduation — outside the Decreto Flussi quota

Read this before you engage anyone

We sell certainty of process — not certainty of outcome.

Nobody can guarantee a Decreto Flussi visa. Anyone who does is lying. Click Day quotas are limited, oversubscribed, and set by the Italian government each year — no agent, consultant, or agency controls that outcome. What we can guarantee is that your file is built correctly, your employer match is genuine, and your application is filed on time and in full. That is the process. The outcome is never ours to promise.
